OVER THE YEARS, WE HAVE DESIGNED AND INTRODUCED MANY DIFFERENT SADDLE STYLES THAT WERE NEVER PREVIOUSLY OFFERED TO THE GAITED HORSE. AS A
FORMER WORLD CHAMPION IN OBSTACLE COURSE, MY GOAL WAS TO DEVELOP A SADDLE THAT OFFERED ALL THE COMPONENTS I HAD FOUND ESSENTIAL FOR
TRAINING AND RIDING THE GAITED HORSE, WHILE PROVIDING THE ULTIMATE IN COMFORT AND SECURITY FOR THE RIDER. THE BUTTERFLY SKIRT SADDLE WAS
INTRODUCED IN 2009 AND IS NOW OUR MOST POPULAR DESIGN. WHETHER YOU ARE TYING TO FIT A WALKING HORSE, FOX TROTTER, ROCKY MOUNTAIN OR OTHER
GAITED BREED, WE HAVE THE WIDEST RANGE OF GAITED SADDLE FITS AVAILABLE.
THIS SADDLE IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR $1259. YOU WILL NOT FIND ANOTHER GAITED SADDLE WITH THESE FEATURES AND PRICE ANYWHERE!!!
SOME OF THE SPECIAL FEATURES OF THIS SADDLE ARE:
1) NEW SKIRT DESIGN- IT FEATURES BUTTERFLY SKIRTS- THE SKIRTING BEHIND THE FENDER IS CUT AWAY TO ALLOW MAXIMUM CONTACT WITH YOUR HORSE. THIS IS
EXTREMELY HELPFUL WHEN TEACHING YOUR HORSE LEG CUES.
2) RIGGING IS POSITIONED SO THAT YOU CAN DO TRADITIONAL RIGGING WHICH ALLOWS FREE SWING OF THE STIRRUP, AND PREVENTS THE GIRTH FROM BEING
UNDERNEATH YOUR LEG. WHEN TEACHING AND USING LEG CUES THIS IS EXTREMELY BENEFICIAL.
3)3-POINT RIGGING- THE SADDLE IS ALSO DESIGNED SO THAT YOU CAN DO THE ENDURO-BALANCED OR 3 POINT RIGGING. SO, YOU HAVE A CHOICE OF TRADITIONAL
RIGGING WITH A REAR GIRTH OR THE ENDURO BALANCED RIGGING WITH NO REAR GIRTH. BELOW YOU CAN SEE PICS OF THE SAME SADDLE RIGGED IN BOTH WAYS.
|ABOVE SHOWS THE 2 OPTIONS FOR RIGGING PLATES FOR THE BUTTERFLY SADDLE. ON
THE LEFT IS DROP RIGGING AND ON THE RIGHT IS INSKIRT RIGGING. PLEASE NOTE THAT
LIGHT RIDER SADDLES ALWAYS HAVE THE INSKIRT RIGGING. BOTH CAN BE RIGGED
ENDURO BALANCED OR TRADITIONAL

|I explained to her that I personalized my saddle by adding the extras like the basket weave which represents my technical side.
The barbed wire is my tough and rugged side and then the sparkle conchos is my feminine, blingy and fun side. The colour is
the same as a very expensive saddle that I paid a fortune for many years ago that I had to sell at an almost give away price She
moves so much better because of the way that the saddle fits her. How I know is when I left my DLG saddle at home because it
needed to be oiled and cleaned with the Skidmore Cream, I saddled her up with my other saddle that I use on my QH mare.. well
she bucked when I tried to put her into a lope. That was a pretty good indication that her very own saddle is like a second skin.
She has never done that before nor since. That tells me a lot. Misty loves her DLG saddle. I ordered the Breast Harness, Bridle
and Reins and the Saddle Bags as well. Those saddle bags were roomy enough for everything that I needed for my long rides.
All items was secured and safe as I covered large rocky surfaces and long up and down climbs. As you can see in the photo, I
have a leather halter that she wears so I can take off her bridle when we have breaks. Oh, and the saddle sore that she got
below her pad was from cinching her up too tightly. I think others should be aware that you can tighten that cinch up too much.
If a saddle fits properly it doesn't need to be cinched so much that it causes sores.
