| We use only "Steele Equi-Fit" trees in all of our saddles. In order to determine the best fit for your horse, we offer the fit form system for ensuring a proper fit before buying your saddle. When placed on the horse's back, the fit forms literally allow the fit to be seen - unobstructed by the saddle skirts, rigging and stirrup leathers. We realize that not everyone is an expert on fit, but serious fit problems are usually obvious with the use of our fit forms. With these forms, even an untrained eye can usually determine if the tree fits the horse properly. However, we do encourage you to send pictures of the forms on your horse so we can address any saddle fit issues. These forms will not only determine if the tree will fit the horses shoulder, but also if it conforms to the shape of your horses back. Fit To Be Seen was developed in response to the many requests we receive for information concerning saddle fit and to address the near total absence of information available concerning all the trees currently available on the market. Additionally, it is not possible to accurately describe the three dimensional shape of the bottom of a saddle tree. After seeing the fit forms on your horse, we can also determine if any alterations need to be made in the bar spread for your individual horse.
